Biography: Son of Alexander Gunn; born Glasgow, 10 June 1891. M.A., 1915 ; Law, 1916-17. Kay, Hunter, Prizes. Private, Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial), 8 January 1916; commissioned, R.A.F., January 1918. Home service, attached to War Office, 1916-19. Final rank, Captain. M.B.E., October 1919.
