Biography: Son of A. A. Fowler; born Aberdeen, 13 October 1898. Arts, 1919-. Private, 40th T.R. Battalion (Camerons), April 1917; commissioned, August 1918; attached, 41st, 39th, T.R. Battalion (Camerons); 4th Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders; 51st Highland Light Infantry; 6/7th, 1/4th, Gordon Highlanders. Served-Home, 18 months; France, Belgium, Germany, 10 months. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
