Photoshop and Premiere Elements - for image and video editing
Photoshop Elements is the consumer version of Photoshop. Aimed at the home/digital camera market this ‘cut down’ version shares many of Photoshop’s tools, features and creative filters – all delivered via a simplified and intuitive interface.
Premiere Elements is the consumer version of Premiere Pro. Aimed at anyone who takes lots of videos and wants to easily edit, trim, add sound, titles, effects, and create polished films. Please see our 'Edit with Premiere Elements' resource for tutorials and guidance.
Both products sell at a fraction of the cost of Adobe CC, making them an attractive and viable alternative for the majority of users. And staff and students get educational discount on top! Staff can contact the IT Service Desk for a quote, and students can buy online.
The IT Services Training and Documentation Team run regular Photoshop Elements courses for staff and PGRs - log into the Course Booking system for forthcoming dates and to book online.
