Resources and training opportunities for staff and students
IT training at the University of Aberdeen is provided by the Training and Documentation (TaD) Team.
We offer a range of courses for staff and postgraduate researchers - covering Microsoft 365, MS Office applications, Student Records, and more. See our current schedule and book online via the Course Booking System.
We are happy to create custom courses to fit the needs of your team, research group, or department. Or if you’re struggling with any aspect of MS Office, you can make an appointment for a 1-2-1 session with one of our trainers. Contact tad@abdn.ac.uk to discuss your requirements.
We publish workbooks and associated exercise files for MS Office and Adobe applications - ideal for self study. Note that these training materials are licensed to the University of Aberdeen so access is restricted to University of Aberdeen users only.

The Training and Documentation Team publish a range of user guides to help you use University IT facilities and supported software. They also host regular training sessions supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint. These are advertised in the Course Booking System.
