Islamic Studies (MLitt)

The Taught MLitt Degree in Islamic Studies is designed for those who wish to expand and deepen their knowledge of Muslim religion, and/ or as preparation for advanced research degrees.

Master of Public Health (MPH)

We are developing an online Master of Public Health (MPH) aimed at students with a health related Honours degree (at 2:2 level or at least 60%) or those able to demonstrate evidence of equivalent experience in healthcare practice or research.

The degree will cover the following courses: Public health in Practice, Fundamentals of Research Design, Statistics, Epidemiology, Evidence based health plus a choice of electives including Introduction to Global Health, Qualitative research, Health Informatics, Health Economics and Clinical Trials.

We intend to offer part-time online study initially, with a Postgraduate Certificate gained after 1 year, a Postgraduate Diploma after 2 years and an MPH after 3.

Translation Studies (PgCert)

This online Translation Programme is suitable for graduates in any discipline, practising translators, or anyone interested in the field of translation. The programme is designed to improve students' translation skills, combining training in translation theory with an intensive language-specific practice. This programme will also allow students to familiarize themselves with the professional contexts translators can be involved in.
