Aberdeen Alumni Discount

20% discount is available for University of Aberdeen graduates on the full cost of a taught postgraduate programme and one year of a full time research programme (two years for part time). Applies to a number of taught postgraduate programmes or first year of a full time research programme.


CB Davidson Fund

The CB Davidson fund provides limited financial support for Postgraduate students within the School of Law.

James Carnegie Scholarship

There is one James Carnegie Scholarship available. The scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students' maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years).

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships provided tuition fee support for up to a maximum of £18,000 on selected distance/online programmes. The eligible programmes at the University of Aberdeen are the Master of Public Health and the Master of Clinical Nutrition.

The scholarships support promising doctoral students studying on a full-time, residential basis at the University of Aberdeen in the fields of Systematic and Historical Theology, Pastoral Theology, Theological Ethics and Biblical Studies.
