What you told us:
You told us you were having issues with Absence Reporting in MyAberdeen.

What we did:
Students will now be able to access the link through the 'Key Resources' page on MyAberdeen and MyAberdeen Ultra.

What you told us:
You told us it was difficult to find assessment feedback and staff contact details in MyAberdeen.

What we did:
We have highlighted your course coordinator on the course page and made staff lists more accessible in the Class Register lists. The GradeBook icon in the Ultra Course View takes you to information on your assessments, feedback, due dates and provisional grades.

What you told us:
You were unaware of everything that MyAberdeen can do.

What we did:
We've provided tips on social media, put videos and guides on Toolkit and included student inductions and staff training to cover this topic.

What you told us:
You would like to see your timetable on MyAberdeen.

What we did:
So now the Activity Stream on MyAberdeen will display due dates for assignments, and work is in progress to integrate your timetable into the calendar.

What you told us:
The PGR website was hard to navigate and confusing.

What we did:
We have completely restructured the website to make it easier to find information, and have rewritten a lot of content, making it easier to understand.

What you told us:
The University and AUSA websites are confusing to navigate and hard to understand at times. You also said that they present an overload of information and make it hard to find what you are looking for.

What we did:
Ways to improve the ABDN website are continuously being considered. Content has been re-written to make information clearer, and duplicated information has been removed. Improvements will be implemented to the AUSA website's menu bar, allowing students to find the information they are looking for more easily.

What you told us:
Setting up an IT account was confusing and complicated.

What we did:
Clearer guidance and a factsheet to support the setup process are being developed.

What you told us:
Selecting courses and re-registering online was confusing.

What we did:
The Online Team are working with colleagues in Schools to manage this process each year. Currently, planning is underway for system development that will encompass re-registration on to further online courses for existing students, which will make the process smoother and less complex for students.

What you told us:
The list of tuition fees online was unclear and did not give a simple breakdown of costs per course.

What we did:
Work is being done to move the listing of programmes on to a new site, where there will be more scope to display how the full tuition fee is calculated.

What you told us:
Online registration in general could be simplified.

What we did:
Our aim is always to streamline any process, registration included, so we are looking into including the needs of online students in the development work for Online Registration, which would enable us to treat all online students in a more similar way and clear up the number of sites they need to visit to get started.
