The Climate Cafe is a monthly event organised by Aberdeen Climate Action. Each month focuses on a different topic related to climate action, research and solutions.

In July we will be discussing the uses and opportunities for biogas, including examples from existing projects in Aberdeen and Scotland.

The three speakers for this month's Climate Cafe are:

  • Robin Szmidt (Aberdeen Anaerobic Digester, TECA): A Breakdown of Aberdeen City Council’s New AD Plant and Distribution System
  • James Fairley (Kirkton of Monikie, Angus): A Farm-Based Anaerobic Digestion Plant
  • Bob Pringle (Aberdeen Climate Action): Potential Opportunities for Biogas Use

Three 20 minutes presentations will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask the speaker questions and participate in the discussion.

Details to join the Zoom meeting will be included in your confirmation email when you sign up. You will also be able to watch the event live on the ACA Facebook page.
