Women in German Studies Open Conference 'Crossing Thresholds'

The German Department will host the Women in German Studies (WIGS) Open Conference (via Teams) on 24-26 June. WIGS Open Conferences are open to people of all genders, members and non-members of WIGS.
The theme for our Open Conference is ‘Crossing Thresholds’. There will also be a special panel strand on Diversity and Inclusivity in German Studies. Prof. I. M. Nick (Germanic Society for Forensic Linguistics) will give the keynote lecture, and there will be an author reading (in German) by Hanna Sukare. Due to the online format, the conference is free to attend, but registration is essential.
