This is a past event

The Climate Cafe is a monthly event organised by Aberdeen Climate Action. Each month focuses on a different topic related to climate action, research and solutions.

The three speakers for this month's Climate Cafe are:

Prof Mark Jacobson (Director-Atmos/Energy Program, Stanford University): Why the Case for CCS Does Not Stack Up

Astley Hastings (Research Fellow, Aberdeen University): Carbon Capture and Storage In Conjunction With DRAX Biomass Electrical Generation Plant

Prof Stuart Haszeldine (Carbon Capture and Storage, Edinburgh University): Prospects for CCS Plants

This online version of our Climate Cafe will follow the same structure as our face-to-face cafes: three 20 minutes presentations will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask the speaker questions and participate in the discussion.

Details to join the Zoom meeting will be included in your confirmation email when you sign up on Eventbrite.
