Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Award (SUEA2018)
Santander Universities is a competition open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students and to recent alumni who have a great business idea. The University of Aberdeen will select up to two entries to go forward into the national competition in October, both winning £1000. The internal closing date for University entries is 30th April.
Winners of the national competition will receive £25,000, a fully funded intern, and £500 digital growth voucher, with the runners up winning £15,000.

Help direct the Gaelic Language Plan
The University is seeking the views of staff and students on its second Gaelic language plan. Wednesday 25th April at 1030. Come along to the Sir Duncan Rice Library, or take a few minutes to fill in our short survey here. More information and a link to the plan can be found here.

Home Students - Apply for SAAS Funding
If you’re a home or EU student SAAS is now open for 2018 funding applications. Visit www.saas.gov.uk for more details. Discretionary fund deadline – Friday 11th May 2018.
New guidance on student printing is now available which includes information on:
· How to get a refund for spoiled/damaged printing
· Where to find printers, including where you can print in colour, and A3
· How to find out how much printing will cost before printing; and
· Printing from mobile devices
Over the Easter break we’ll be attaching labels to printers to indicate whether they are capable of printing in colour and to let you know how to get refunds for spoiled printouts, and how to report faults

· Free online learning materials via Percipio e-learning system
· Regular MS Office drop-in sessions

At their Health and Wellness week in March, students and staff in Qatar were offered a number of opportunities to learn more about topics such as ‘Diabetes’, ‘Wellness and Behavioral Treatment’, ‘Health and Nutrition’, and ‘First Aid Course’.

Living on campus is truly part of the University and student life. And University accommodation rents frozen at 2017 prices for returning students! You can choose to live with your friends, or just leave it up to us. Contracts are only 40 weeks, and all bills are included in the price –WiFi as well!
