Now that January is out of the way and we are starting to settle back into our routines, February is the perfect time to think about how we might adjust those routines or habits to incorporate wellbeing moments within them.

This doesn't have to be taking time out or 'doing' something, it can simply be changing the way you do something, setting and respecting your boundaries or the way you self-talk or practice self-compassion.

Looking after ourselves both mentally and physically shouldn't be a 'nice to do' or 'when I have time', we all need to recharge the batteries and look after ourselves on a daily basis.

We all perform better and are happier in both our work and personal lives when we take some time each day to prioritise our wellbeing by actively making small choices that enhance and enrich it.

So take some time to explore what might work for you.

Hear From Your Peers

It's important to find what works for you and what you can embed in your own personal routines, you have more chance of keeping it up if it is something sustainable with potential longevity.

If you try something and decide its not for you, don't give up, try something else. All the small changes will build up over time to help you feel more in control and connected to your personal wellbeing.

You don't have to run a marathon or climb a mountain to get the mental health benefits from physical activity, start small, go at your own pace and set yourself achievable step by step goals.
