Help us reimagine Marischal East
The unique and historic Marischal College has formed an integral part of the University of Aberdeen’s history since the late 16th century. It is the second-largest granite building in the world. Many city residents, staff and students will have visited the anthropological museum housed for many years in the building.
Considering broader regeneration activities underway in the adjacent locality overseen by City partners, such as the City Centre Masterplan and the Queen Street Development, and the opportunities for collaboration that may bring, it is timely that fresh thinking and new ideas about potential uses for Marischal East are sought. Any innovative ideas for the space should also align with the values and themes laid out in the University’s vision for the future, Aberdeen 2040.
