Biography

Melanie has been working with the University of Aberdeen since 2007, and came to us from Tasmania, Australia. She has undergraduate and masters degrees in psychology & counselling and is a practising therapist in her ‘spare time’, with a passion for the student experience. Melanie is a rampant bibliophile and introvert (but loves speaking to a crowd; she's a little weird) who wants to live in a log cabin in the woods with wall to wall books where you occasionally find dark chocolate and there is a free roaming black cat called House Panther alongside a sleepy, fluffy grey beast called Pig.
