University scoops Wellbeing gong at cHeRries Awards 2022

The University was named winner of the 'Exceptional Wellbeing in the Workplace' award at the cHeRries Awards which took place in Aberdeen last night.

The awards, which recognise excellence in the fields of human resources, training and recruitment, were announced at P&J Live during a glittering black tie ceremony attended by hundreds of guests from organisations across the north-east.

The University was shortlisted in three categories in total, 'Exceptional Wellbeing in the Workplace', 'Terrific Team of the Year' and 'Rising Star' for Graduate Traineer Adviser Grant Rae.

All categories were hotly contested. In additon to the win, we were Highly Commended by the judges in the 'Terrific Team' section.

Debbie Dyker, Director of People, said: "Congratulations to the team for scooping the ‘Exceptional Wellbeing in the Workplace’ award at this year’s CHeRries Awards. We’re exceptionally proud of all colleagues involved in the three categories we were shortlisted in for their hard work and commitment during very challenging times."
