The University's summer interns were presented with Certificates of Achievements by Caroline Inglis last week for successfully completing their summer placements.
The 14 interns each spent 10 weeks at the University on paid placements, in a number of areas across the University, including Marketing & Student Recruitment, the School of Education and Planning, Research & Innovations. The award-winning internship programme, which is exclusively for University of Aberdeen students, allows undergraduates to gain valuable work experience which complements their academic studies.
On completion of their placements, Interns are asked to give a presentation on their experience working at the University. Around 50 guests were asked to vote for the best presentation at the event held on 17 August 2018 in the Old Senate room.
Congratulations to Kelsie Murphy who took the accolade of best presentation, for sharing his experience in the Aberdeen Centre for Health and Data Science. Further congratulations to Elzbieta Futkowska, (Digital Marketing and Communications Data Analyst Intern) whose presentation was “Highly Commended”.
