Active Matter brings Biology and Physics together.

Active matter is a new discipline that brings together scientists from Physics and Biology to study how animals, or cells, or even robots or people move together collectively. Many fascinating phenomena emerge, like swarms of birds, schools of fishes and artificially moving droplets.

All talks are open to all and held in the Wood Foundation Centre for Science and Technology, Robert Gordon’s College, Schoolhill, Aberdeen at 7:00 pm on the dates listed and are FREE to attend. Public Parking is available surrounding the venue.
