World renowned as a soloist and Professor of Euphonium, David Childs opens the University Concert Series with a flourish.
The 2017-18 concert series opens with the world renowned, David Childs, Professor of Euphonium at both the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and the Birmingham Conservatoire. David is well known in Brass Band circles and is leading the way in establishing the Euphonium as a solo instrument, performing at the Welsh Proms this year with the world première of Professor Paul Mealor’ s Euphonium Concerto.
