Biography: "In the course of time, considerable additions have been made to the library by donations of books from private persons, particularly the Reverend Mr, Primat,", Kennedy, Annals, II, 108. Church of England clergyman and writer on animal welfare. Born London 1734-5. Admitted Cambridge 1752, B.A., 1757, M.A., 1764. Vicar of Higham, and of Swardeston, Norfolk 1766-74. Honorary D.D., Marischal Coll., 1773. Published work on animal welfare 1776. Died 1777. Bequeathed his books to Marischal College Library.
