Heber, Richard

Biography: Book collector and scholar. Born Westminster, London 1773/4. Studied under Samuel Glasse, then Brasenose College, Oxford - B.A, 1796, M.A., 1797. Visited France, Belgium and the Netherlands 1815. M.P for Oxford University 1821-5. Sheriff for Shropshire 1821. D.C.L., Oxford, 1822. In Europe 1825-31. Died Pimlico, London 1833.
