Objects and paintings from the university's collections have long featured in exhibitions both at home and abroad.
This short talk by Caroline Dempsey, Conservator for the Museum collections, will look at some of the more recent exhibitions where our objects have been displayed. Caroline will outline what is involved in preparing objects for their travels, and how she goes about installing them in their temporary displays; including the beautiful Egyptian Middle Kingdom coffin box from Beni Hasan, recently conserved thanks to support from an anonymous donor to the Aberdeen Humanities Fund.
This fascinating look behind the scenes will be followed by a Q&A with Caroline.
