The University of Aberdeen has responsibility to develop entrepreneurship education as part of the Scottish Programme for Entrepreneurship.

Our objective is to develop sustainable entrepreneurship education in schools, colleges and universities including teacher education and development. In this context we aim to link this to Curriculum for Excellence capacities. This includes the development of educational programmes for teachers involved in entrepreneurship education, or who seek to be more entrepreneurial in their approach in their own professional roles.

The University is building entrepreneurship courses and entrepreneurial development opportunities at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. We have also helped develop platforms for developing entrepreneurial confidence and capability for those delivering enterprise initiatives across the community.

As SPE is a joint initiative between three universities in Scotland, we feel it important for you to see what is happening at the other universities.
