New Kings Studentship

The School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture is pleased to offer 3 open-topic full-time Phd studentships. The LLMVC New Kings studentships comprise a fee waiver plus an annual stipend of £6000 for the 3 years of supervised study. Applicants must be home/EU students commencing their Phd project in the academic year 2020-21. 

Selection will be based on the strength of the proposed project, its fit with the research specialisms of the school, and the academic track record of the applicant.

Application process

Application will be via the Phd application portal.

You must include a detailed project proposal (1000-1500 words), degree transcripts and certificates, and be supported by two academic references.

You should mark your application LLMVC New Kings Studentship in the Intended Source of Funding.

The deadline for applications is 1st June 2020.

Successful applicants will be notified in late June.

Successful applicants will be expected to submit a SGSAH funding application during year 1, and will receive appropriate support and guidance in preparing this application.
