The School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture is one of five Schools in the College of Arts and Social Sciences and is home to ten disciplines and a number of research centres.

It has a thriving community of doctoral students and currently hosts Taught Master’s Programmes in a diverse range of subjects, including Creative Writing, English Literary Studies, Literature, Science and Medicine, Music, Professional Communication, TESOL, Translation Studies and Visual Culture.
