Under the aegis of the Centre for Knowledge and Society, the nascent Philosophy of Sports Reading Group will be dedicated this half-session to a close reading and discussion of Bernard Suits’s delightful masterpiece The Grasshopper: Games, Life and Utopia (1978). Here is a review by Nigel Warburton.
This Reading Group is open to staff members of any discipline and to Honours and PG students in Philosophy. We will meet fortnightly beginning in teaching week 2 and ending in teaching week 12 (Revision week), on Thursdays at 11am-12pm, location TBC (King’s Campus). If you are interested in joining the reading group, please email Federico Luzzi: firstname.lastname@example.org
