The School of Divinity, History and Philosophy is made up of several key research areas: Divinity, Religious Studies, History, History of Art, Philosophy, and Scandinavian Studies.

We are a leading international provider of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate education, attractively situated at the heart of the Old Aberdeen campus. We are also the only school which is now based in King's College quadrangle, beside the ancient chapel and the King's Conference Centre.

Divinity, History and Philosophy maintains a tradition of teaching and learning which dates back to the university's foundation over 500 years ago. We are committed to high quality, research-led teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our students come from all over the British Isles and from overseas and go on to a wide range of professions after they graduate. These include ministry, teaching, nursing, social work, the armed forces, journalism, and law.
