Navigating Transition - in life, faith and ministry
Life is a journey of letting go and taking hold; of endings, welcome and unwelcome; and strange places of uncertain waiting for God's emerging future. You are invited to bring the transitions you are experiencing. Through times of prayer, reflection, silence and conversation, begin to map the changing inner landscape of your soul. The Retreat will be led by Peter and Dorothy Neilson at Gartmore House.

Church Leaders Reading Group  This is now fully booked but a waiting list is operating.

The Reading Group has been created in order to provide a forum that will stimulate creative thinking and discussion among church leaders which encourages faithful practice in ministry. The aim is to form a community of people who are committed to thinking deeply and reflecting seriously upon the practices of the Christian faith and ministry.
The group will meet once month, on an evening to be decided, between 6.30 and 8.00pm, eight times each year during the first weeks of September, October, November, December, February, March, April and May. It will meet in a Blackboard Collaborate virtual reading room.
The book we have chosen to begin the group with is Michael J. Gorman’s Becoming the Gospel: Paul, Participation and Mission which has been published by Eerdmans in 2015. The book is available from Amazon,
There will be some preparation required before each meeting and you will be encouraged to keep a reading journal.
In the last meeting next May, Michael Gorman will join group so that we have the opportunity of speaking to him and asking him those questions we have wrestled with during the course of the year.

If you wish to take part in this group or find out more please email
