The role of social media in science - policy interactions
Many traditional ways for the presentation of evidence by scientists often fail to meet the needs of policy makers. However, scientific knowledge exchange activities now increasingly take place on-line via a wide range of social media. This seminar will highlight how social media can be used for effective science - policy interactions and discuss the associated issues based on the experiences of a scientist turned science adviser turned policy make. pdf
