Teaching Fellow, Geosciences

Lecturer in Geology, Geosciences

The School of Geosciences seeks to appoint a full time Lecturer in Geology.  Consideration will be given to part-time working and job share. Research Fellow, Geosciences

The Department of Archaeology within the School of Geosciences at the University of Aberdeen seeks to appoint a Research Fellow as part of Historic Environment Scotland funded TheCITADEL Project: Rescue- and Research-led Investigations at a Pictish Elite Centre Phase II project. The CITADEL Phase II project will complete an integrated programme of rescue- and research-led excavations of the major Pictish promontory fort at Burghead and will undertake a programme of scientific analysis on the rich animal bone remains from the site. Alongside the excavations the project will continue to deliver a package of public engagement and educational endeavors including a major fieldschool, open days and crafting workshops.
