We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Finance with an interest in FinTech to contribute to our new MSc in Financial Technology (FinTech). We welcome applications from all areas of finance and related disciplines (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science). Applicants need to have intermediate Python skills. It would be desirable if applicants have an interest in cybersecurity. An interest in distance learning would be welcome.
The successful candidate will be passionate about world-class research and delivering an excellent student experience. They will work with colleagues in the School towards developing a strong international reputation in their discipline that is aligned to the School’s mission and vision.
We are looking for people who combine research excellence and a high-impact research agenda with an enthusiasm to encourage and support research capacity building within the School and the University. Effective and innovative teaching are key aspects of the post.
At Lecturer level successful applicants will have also achieved initial publication success
Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 7 salary scale (£40,792 - £48,676 per annum) with placement according to qualifications and experience.
