This course aims to provide a broad understanding of generation from solar sources, the associated technologies and the main technical challenges.

This course studies all aspects of solar energy including the concept, resources, technologies, practical implementation, development, barriers, environmental and sustainable issues. Some case studies are investigated for solar energy projects. Students will carry out a design project to enhance their knowledge and transferable skills.
