Biography

I joined the facility in 2013, and have long-standing experience in providing training on our range of microscopes. These include widefield and confocal fluorescence and our light microscope systems. I am experienced in sample preparation for fluorescence microscopy and am happy to provide advice regarding this. I can also help with sample preparation for SEM and MicroCT and train users on these systems.

I have considerable experience of histology work including cryostat and paraffin processing, embedding, sectioning and histological staining. I am also able to train users in the use of histological equipment such as the wax microtomes, cryostat and staining.
