Biography
I am currently Lecturer in Early Judaism and Christian Origins, prior to which I held the Kirby Laing Research Fellow in New Testament. My PhD is in New Testament and Christian Origins from the University of Edinburgh (2018), and my recent research focuses on ancient scriptural interpretation, early Jewish messianism, and Christology. I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses on biblical literature and interpretation.

Supervision
My current supervision areas are: Divinity.
I supervise doctoral research pertaining to early Judaism and Christian origins, including but not limited to New Testament. In particular, I am interested in projects related to any of the following: the Pauline epistles, Hebrews, Revelation, Christology, Jewish and/or Christian messianism, scriptural interpretation in antiquity, ancient constrictions of ethnic identity, apocalyptic literature, intersections of ancient Jewish and Christian thought and reading practices. However, do not hesitate to contact me about projects adjacent to or beyond these topics.
