Ms Isobel Buchanan

Biography

Izzie graduated from the University of Birmingham with an M.Sci in Geology in 2013. She then went on to achieve an MSc in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience at the University of Aberdeen. Since then she has worked in industry before moving into Higher Education administration at the University of Oxford. She joined the School of Biological Sciences team in March 2019 as Partnership Coordinator of the new QUADRAT DTP across the schools of Biological Sciences and Geosciences. 

Internal Memberships

Coordinating the NERC funded QUADRAT DTP which focuses on Biodiversity, Earth Systems and Environmental Management across the schools of Biological Sciences and Geosciences. Managing all aspects of the programme across the two partner institutions, The University of Aberdeen and Queen's University Belfast.
