Biography
Ioannis Chountis is a PhD student in History, with particular interest in the political thought of the eighteenth-century. His research interest focus on Edmund Burke's thought and the reception of classical education and philosophy in the eighteenth-century.
Ioannis's research articles and book reviews have been published in international peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Eighteenth-Century Studies and the Byron Journal.
He is a graduate of Classics (B.A.) and holds three master's degrees (M.A.) in History, Philosophy, and Political Strategy.
Ioannis is, also, the author of a book, Romanticism in Power. Aspects of Lord Byron's Political Opinions and His Participation to the Greek Revolution. Athens: Armos Publications, 2022.
