Corina is a Teaching Fellow in the Institute of Applied Health Sciences, British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist, HCPC registered Practitioner Health Psychologist and APA registered Psychologist. Prior to joining the group in August 2018, Corina worked in the NHS delivering psychological therapy to support self-management for adults with cystic fibrosis.
Corina's main research interests include global behavioural science, behaviour change interventions, self-management of chronic health conditions and dental health. Her projects largely utilise qualitative methods, including thematic and interpretative phenomenological analysis.
Recently, Corina has become Chief Investigator for qualitative and quantitative observational studies in Global Health, exploring methodological challenges in Behavioural Science research
Corina is involved in the delivery of the BPS-accredited MSc in Health Psychology, and contributes to postgraduate and undergraduate courses on other programmes in the Institute of Applied Health Sciences and Psychology Department. Corina also supervises MSc student research projects.
