Lead Planning Analyst
Chris joined the University in 2018 as the Lead Planning Analyst and is responsible for the provision of high quality data, data analysis and forecasting to support the University's strategic and operational planning activities, particularly relating to student number planning, monitoring of institutional performance (KPIs), and league table rankings. He manages institutional data governance processes for statutory data returns, coordinating the production and quality assurance of these returns, and offers specialist advice to senior management on internal and external data to maximise institutional performance.
Prior to joining the University, Chris worked at Coventry University for 16 years with over a decade of experience in strategic planning during a period of time that saw Coventry establish itself as a leading modern university in the UK, and was latterly involved in a project on postgraduate strategy.
Chris has an honours degree in Genetics from the University of Aberdeen.
Away from the office Chris is a keen cyclist and swimmer as well as an enthusiastic fan of Lossiemouth FC.
