Biography

I'm pursuing a PhD in Museum Studies at the University of Aberdeen, focusing on the study of art museums in China and their exhibitions, with a particular interest in the historiography of art museums, contemporary art exhibitions, and visitor experience.

My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History (2013-2017) and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies (2017-2020), both from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

Professionally, I served as an educational coordinator and curatorial assistant in the Department of Public Education and Exhibition at the Guangdong Museum and GAFA Art Museum between 2017 and 2020. My curatorial experience includes leading the inaugural Photography Exhibition of the Foshan City Management Bureau in 2017 at the 39 Art Centre in Foshan, China. Additionally, I contributed as a curatorial volunteer at the Times Museum in Canton, assisting in exhibitions like Roman Ondák's "Storyboard" in 2015 and TSAI Ming-Liang’s "Stray Dogs at the Museum" in 2017.
