The easiest way to travel from Aberdeen to Oceanlab is by car. From Aberdeen travel north along the A90 towards Peterhead. 10 miles north of Aberdeen turn right down the A975 towards Newburgh.
Drive into Newburgh, keep on going and Oceanlab is the very last group of buildings on the left.
You can catch a bus out to Oceanlab. The Stagecoach Bluebird bus company operate 2 bus routes (services 60 and 63) between Aberdeen and Newburgh.
When you arrive in Newburgh, the 63 bus will drop you practically at our doorstep. Otherwise you'll have to walk out of the village on the A975 towards Cruden Bay. Oceanlab 1 and Oceanlab 2 are the last buildings in Newburgh on the left hand side of the road. If you've been dropped at the Primary School then you'll have to walk down the hill to the T-junction and turn left, past the Udny Arms Hotel and then straight on to Oceanlab. If you are dropped off at the Udny Arms then just carry straight on down the road for 300m and you'll find us. Buses run from early morning until late evening 7 days a week.
