Department Composers on New CD Release

Department composers Dr Phillip Cooke and Prof Paul Mealor are both featured on "The Eternal Ecstasy".

Department composers Dr Phillip Cooke and Prof Paul Mealor are both featured on a new CD recorded by the Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, conducted by Sarah MacDonald and released on the Regent Records label. The CD, entitled ‘The Eternal Ecstasy’ features a newly commissioned work of the same title from Dr Cooke (who has worked closely with the choir for several years) as well as works by the likes of Morten Lauridsen, James MacMillan (department visiting research fellow) and David Bednall.
