Professor Paul Mealor has been commissioned by the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance 2014 to compose a setting of John McRae's powerful, 'In Flanders Fields'.
Professor Mealor’s new work, ‘In Flanders Fields’ will be premiered by the Choir of Royal Holloway College and the military band from the Household Division together with The Countess of Wessex's String Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 8th November and broadcast live on BBC 1 TV in the presence of HM The Queen and The Royal Family.
