This is a past event

Following recent announcements and an easing of Covid restrictions, we are pleased to present a weekend of LIVE new music events in Aberdeen on 12 and 13 June featuring music from composers from the University of Aberdeen.

The unboundSOUND programme is part of Aberdeen's sound festival and includes world premiere performances from Red Note Ensemble with horn player Richard Watkins of new works by Philip Cashian, Rylan Gleave and Aileen Sweeney.

The School of LLMVC and the Department of Music is represented twice in this programme, firstly with a new outdoor piece for multiple horns by Professor Pete Stollery at Aberdeen Harbour. Our PhD student in composition, Joe Stollery, will also have a new piece performed by Red Note on the Sunday.

Please see the following links for more information on each individual event.
