04 July 2019 Volunteers Required For Research Into Human-computer Interaction New developments in technology are allowing computers to understand what is contained in complex visual scenes. This study will examine whether such machine-generated information can aide human memory for visual information.

The study involves briefly viewing some images of typical household scenes and then answering some multiple-choice questions about what you remember about the scenes. You will also be provided with some information from a machine-generated analysis of the images, which you can use to aide your memory if you so wish.

The experiment will take approximately 40-minutes. We will compensate you £5 for your time.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact i.a.dawson.16@aberdeen.ac.uk for more information. The experiment will take place in the William Guild Building.

This study has been approved by the Psychology Ethics Committee.
