06 August 2019 Participants Wanted. The Effect Of Stress On Taste Perception. How do you COPE with STRESS? How do you perceive TASTE?
We are looking for participants to take part in a study investigating the effect of stress on taste perception.
Your participation will involve watching videoclips on stress management, completing a public speaking task and a cognitive task, filling out questionnaires on stress appraisal and subjective mood and rating different snack-type foods on taste criteria. This opportunity offers you a chance to learn more about yourself and the latest ideas in the field of health psychology.

You are eligible to take part in this study if you have not suffered/ are not currently suffering from an eating disorder, diabetes or public speaking anxiety. Please note that the laboratory foods contain the allergens gluten and milk. Unfortunately, you are not eligible to participate if you do not wish to consume foods that contain these allergens.
The study is under supervision of Dr Katharina Schnitzspahn and has been approved by the Psychology Ethics Committee, PEC/4249/2019/7, University of Aberdeen.
