Interested In Volunteering For A Psychology Experiment?
You will be required to reach over different surfaces in order to grasp a small wooden object and place it in the starting position. Hand movement will be measured using a non-invasive motion tracking device requiring to place small markers on your fingers and back of the hand. You will wear liquid crystal shutter glasses during the experiment to occlude vision between trials. After the experiment you will be asked to rate the visual properties of the surfaces.
The experiment takes up to 90 minutes to complete and you will be compensated £10 for your time.
You must have normal or corrected to normal vision, and be right-handed.
If you would like to participate, or would like more information, please contact the experimenter, Anna Nowakowska (firstname.lastname@example.org).
This research is being conducted under the supervision of Dr Martin Giesel and Dr Constanze Hesse, School of Psychology. The experiment procedures have been approved by the School of Psychology Ethics Committee, University of Aberdeen.
