Right-handed Participants Wanted: How Fast Can I Press Buttons?
We are looking for right-handed participants to take part in an experiment looking at how fast people can press buttons. This study is conducted by Malgorzata Kasprzyk and Tanya Filipova under the supervision of Dr Bert Timmermans.
During this experiment, you will be asked to press fast and accurately a button corresponding to a stimulus displayed on the screen. Your reaction times and accuracy will be recorded.
Our goal is to find out what affects human movement.
The study takes place in William Guild Building over two days (at least 7 days apart). First session will take approx. 1 hour of your time, while the second approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes. There will be frequent short breaks
At the end of the second session, you will be reimbursed £12 for your time
(£5 for session 1; £7 for session 2).
If you are interested in participating or would like to find more about the study (and did not take part in the study before), please contact Malgorzata Kasprzyk at firstname.lastname@example.org or Tanya Filipova at email@example.com.
The experiment has been approved by the Psychology Ethics Committee, University of Aberdeen (PEC/3875/2018/3 upd/1026).
