Campus opens doors to science students of tomorrow

Some of the next generation of science students will converge this week on Old Aberdeen.

This year’s event is even more popular than last year with visitors from all over the UK expected to attend. Some would-be students are travelling from even further afield, from Germany and Brussels.

Academics will be around to give visitors information on course content. Tours of the historic campus will be offered as well as demonstrations of experiments in some of the University’s hi-tech labs.

All-important advice on finances will also be available from staff of the Student Awards Agency Scotland.

Organisers hope the high quality teaching facilities and wide breadth of courses on offer will persuade many of the visitors to confirm their place at the University.

BSc Applicant Day takes place on Wednesday, March 2.
