There are only a few books remaining in our Free Book Giveaway, and we expect that they will all be gone by the end of today. It has been great to see students and staff take advantage of this and provide these books with new bookcases and shelves to call home, and of course the chance to be read. It makes librarians happy to see the books being used, so thank you.

Starting on Monday 20 February, for one week, the Library will be offering to all visitors to the Sir Duncan Rice Library the opportunity to take away books, for free, on the ground floor. While these titles, across a whole range of subject areas, are not suitable for our own collection, they would undoubtedly still be of interest to many, so we are offering them the chance of good new homes with the students and staff of the University of Aberdeen, for free.
You will find the free books on the right as you enter the Sir Duncan Rice Library. As we have so many to offer, new titles will be brought out across the week, so be sure to keep looking until Sunday February 26 when this giveaway will come to an end.
