We are currently repurposing some areas within The Sir Duncan Rice Library, and while this work is carried out there will be some minimal disturbance to users of the building. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We are installing extra pcs and study desks across floors 1, 3, 5 and 6, increasing the range of spaces available to users of the library. The areas where work is taking place are clearly marked and there are notices on desks to notify all visitors if there is likely to be work nearby.
Alternatively, if you need a silent space to study why not use the silent study rooms in the south west corner of Floors 3, 4 and 5? These rooms were recently equipped with power and USB sockets allowing you to work from your laptop in a silent environment.

Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused by these important developments within the building.
