Dr Constantinos Yiallourides presents paper at 10th South China Sea Conference

Dr Yiallourides recently presented his paper 'Force and coercion in the South China Sea: Why does it matter in international law' to audience of academics from around the world. The focus of the 10th South China Sea Conference was 'co-operation for regional security and development.'

The paper presented is part of  Dr Yiallourides' ongoing work on maritime and territorial disputes and their interplay with other fields of International Law; including: energy, environment, natural resources, use of force, international cooperation and peaceful settlement. Moreover, a number of these publications are part of the Sir Arthur Watts research programme on maritime and territorial disputes with the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL).
